Happy Juneteenth! If you are looking for a way to commemorate Juneteenth this year consider joining Outdoor Afro in an outdoor reflection. Outdoor Afro is asking participants in their commemoration to spend 2.5 hours in nature to reflect on the question, “What does freedom mean to me in America?” in honor of the 2.5 years freedom was delayed for 250,000 enslaved people of Galveston, TX.
To learn more check out the event info on the Outdoor Afro website. #juneteenth #outdoorafro #freedom
