Dear Trips for Kids Marin Community,
After two years of dedicated and heartfelt work to further Trips for Kids Bay Area’s mission and values, Bec Detrich has announced that she will be departing her role as Executive Director. During her tenure, Bec did an exemplary job keeping the organization on track and moving forward, despite the overwhelming impact of the pandemic on our organization. Every decision thoughtfully considered our strategic objectives and values and how we could best serve our diverse community.
Bec’s vision and leadership will be greatly missed by the staff, board, volunteers, and our community and partners. We wish her the best of luck in her next chapter as Executive Director of North Cascades Institute, which includes a move to Washington state to be closer to family.
The board has retained the services of CVNL, whose extensive network of nonprofit leaders make them uniquely qualified to recruit our next exceptional Executive Director. CVNL will lead the search to find a dynamic leader with a true passion for TFKBA’s mission to: provide transformational cycling experiences for underserved youth. We will share the job announcement soon and ask for your help in identifying candidates who can help TFKBA take its next steps.
Sincerely,
Erika Cramer
Chair of Executive Director Transition Committee on behalf of the TFBA Board of Directors
