Outdoor Afro is asking participants in their commemoration to spend 2.5 hours in nature to reflect on the question, “What does freedom mean to me in America?” in honor of the 2.5 years freedom was delayed for 250,000 enslaved people of Galveston, TX.

Bec’s vision and leadership will be greatly missed by the staff, board, volunteers, and our community and partners. We wish her the best of luck in her next chapter!!
