A commercial partner at the law firm of Farella Braun + Martel in San Francisco, and a former college baseball player, Dave took up mountain biking after college as a way to escape the gym for the outdoors. Attracted by the open space, trails and great public schools of Marin, he moved to Mill Valley in 2000, where he still lives with his wife and two sons. Since 2007, following the birth of his first son, Dave has commuted daily by bike to downtown San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge. On a perfect day, he bikes with his two boys to school and then rides through the Headlands to work - one of the most beautiful commutes in the world.

Dave discovered Trips for Kids Bay Area through a cycling friend who leads rides for TFKBA. For years, he has helped TFKBA with various legal services on a pro bono basis. Given his passion for cycling and desire to give back to the community, Dave was delighted to join TFKBA’s Board of Directors in 2012.
