"Several of our youth hadn't experienced a gear bike and were initially reluctant and intimidated, preferring to use their own bikes. After a warm invitation and practice with some skills during our ride, many have reported wanting to level up and retire their cruisers. THIS is a prime example of how the ride has offered our students practice cultivating a growth mindset and taking on challenge with healthy risk. The ride also helped to forge the beginnings of new friendships from an unlikely group to spend time together NOW with a new found shared interest." - St. Paul's Episcopal School, November 11th, 2020
