Nicholas Nguyen

Director

Mr. Nguyen’s background includes over 30 years of public and private sector experience in civil engineering and business consulting.

His current focus is working in local government to deliver the
​multi-modal transportation infrastructure projects that promote safe bicycle and pedestrian access, as well as conducting long range planning efforts for major roads and freeways in Marin County.

He currently works with the Transportation Authority of Marin and was the Public Works Director and City Engineer for various communities in California. 

​He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of San Francisco, and has lived and worked in Marin since 2006. He is an avid cyclist today and was a part-time bicycle mechanic in his early years in college.
